Multidisciplinary project, 2025

‘VVvvvrrr BRRrrRMm VRRRRMmm’ is an ongoing research project that comprehend a handwriting piece and a life performance.

The address where my apartment is located is probably one of the most traffic crowded venues of the whole city, not only due to this but also because its narrowness and the tall buildings makes the street an acoustic hell for its inhabitants. The engines of cars, motorbikes, trucks speeding, starting and stopping at the street light, sirens, claxons even small crashes are easily hearable with the house windows closed. Being aware of this I started to document these sounds through onomatopeyas handwriting from my balcony. This derived in a very brief but energetic performance that consists in a furious rage against a parked car speaking its own language creating an unilateral confrontation against a imposed, selfish, polluting and invasive automobility culture and revolves in an ineffective communication human-machine using its own code, because machines speak human language.
